Ready to head back to the ’90s? Nintendo set to release SNES Classic Edition

After the NES Classic Edition saw success last November, Nintendo has decided to release the Super Nintendo Entertainment System Classic Edition this fall.

The SNES Classic Edition will retail for $79.99 and will be available Sept. 29, according to Nintendo’s website.

The gaming system can be plugged into any HDTV with an included HDMI cable and will come with two controllers, according to FOX affiliate Q13.

Nintendo said that the console has the original look and feel of the 90s console, but it will be smaller than the original.

It will come preloaded with 21 games, according to Nintendo:

  • F-ZERO

  • The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

  • Super Castlevania IV
