For years, Donald Trump dispatched “D”-listers on NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice” with the catchphrase “You’re fired.”

Now that “Terminator” star and former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to take over as host of the reality competition, the collective wisdom of the Internet is suggesting new slogans, among them, “You’re terminated.” Another possibility: “You won’t be back.”

“Wow,” Schwarzenegger said on Twitter. “I’m blown away and honored by all your tweets. I can’t wait to bring my experience to the board room & raise millions for charity.”

Schwarzenegger, an international celebrity, takes over the long-running program, opening what one network executive characterized as “a powerful new chapter in the story of the ‘Apprentice’ franchise.”

“The Governor has fundamentally changed every industry he has touched so this will be a much different show than people expect,” said Aaron McLear, Schwarzenegger’s former spokesman. “I’m sure he’s looking forward to putting his incredible business acumen to work for the millions of dollars in charity this program will raise.”

The show, with Schwarzenegger billed as the CEO, returns for the 2016-17 TV season, and it’s former host is satisfied with the selection of his replacement.

“Congrats to my friend (Schwarzenegger) who is doing next season’s ‘Celebrity Apprentice.’ He’ll be great & will raise lots of $ for charity,” Trump said.

We’re pulling for a Danny DeVito cameo.
