Doug Ose volunteers that he doesn’t agree with everything that Donald Trump has said and done, most recently his hesitancy to disavow the endorsement of a former grand wizard of the Ku Klux Klan.
“I would probably have spoken a little more directly about the David Duke thing,” Ose said.
Nevertheless, the former three-term, Sacramento-area congressman said Monday that he is endorsing Trump for president. He sent the Republican frontrunner a letter last week.
“I’m all in. I’m with the guy,” Ose said. “I don’t agree with him on everything, but I think he’s the best suited for the critical challenges that I see coming our way.”

I’m all in. I’m with the guy.
Former U.S. Rep. Doug Ose
Ose, who backed former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush until he dropped out of the race, praised Trump for his business acumen.
“He’s used to getting things done,” Ose said. “He doesn’t take crap from anybody.”
Ose was narrowly defeated by Rep. Ami Bera in California’s 7th Congressional District contest in 2014 – the most expensive House race that year.
He said he thinks Trump not only will win the nomination, but also the presidency.
Would he want a position in that administration?
“Actually, I’m enjoying what I’m doing right now,” said Ose, a real estate developer. “I’m not looking for anything. If somebody said after the fact, ‘Hey, I’d like you to do x, y and z, I’d look at it. But I’m not looking for anything.”
