Plane crash at Lake Tahoe airport sends one person to the hospital

A plane crash at the Lake Tahoe Airport on Monday afternoon sent one person from the aircraft to the hospital, South Lake Tahoe police said.

The incident occurred at the airport three miles southwest of South Lake Tahoe at 1:22 p.m., according to a police dispatcher.

Details of the crash and identities of the individuals aboard the plane were not available Monday afternoon.
