Woman accused of posting Nazi propaganda at schools

A Southern California woman has been charged with misdemeanors for allegedly posting Nazi propaganda at one school and near another.

The Orange County District Attorney's Office said Monday that 22-year-old Grace Ziesmer of Fullerton is charged with one misdemeanor count of vandalism and two misdemeanor counts of graffiti.

Authorities say Ziesmer posted Nazi propaganda in March on the campus of Newport Harbor High school and on light poles near Fullerton College.

Ziesmer is due in court on June 6. It was not immediately clear if she has an attorney.

Authorities say they are prosecuting hate crimes and incidents to the fullest extent of the law. They say if Ziesmer is convicted of all charges she could face up to 18 months in jail.
