STATELINE, Nev. -- Two men are facing charges for the beating and stabbing death of a Lake Tahoe casino worker, authorities said.
The body of Jazmin Gonzalez, 22, was found in a room Sunday at the Horizon Casino Resort, where she worked as a housekeeper.
Later that day, authorities arrested Ramiro Galicia, 35, and Evan Garcia, 23.
"She was working. She was on duty," said Douglas County sheriff's Lt. Steve Orr. "She could have been cleaning this room but we're still investigating."

Galicia and the victim had an ongoing relationship, investigator said. Records also show Gonzalez filed for a domestic restraining order against Galicia in September.
Garcia was arrested at the Horizon where he was staying as a guest, Orr said. Galicia contacted police later that day and said he wanted to turn himself in. An officer picked him up at a motel.
Galicia was being held in South Lake Tahoe on suspicion of murder, kidnapping and conspiracy pending extradition across the state line to Nevada, the Douglas County sheriff's office said.
Garcia is accused of being an accessory to murder and was being held in the Douglas County jail.
Investigators said an autopsy suggests Gonzalez died from blunt-force trauma and numerous stab wounds from a sharp object.
