A pair of crashes were reported Tuesday morning on Sandy Mush Road east of Dan McNamara Road, just a few minutes apart from one another, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The first crash was reported at 7:25 a.m., according to the CHP. Michael Delemos, 20, of Hilmar, was driving a white 2001 Ford F650 eastbound on Sandy Mush Road at an unknown speed. Delemos began to slow down to make a left turn onto a dirt road. Meanwhile, Migdalia Chid, 52, of Los Banos, was driving a gray 2013 Ford Fusion eastbound in the westbound lane of Sandy Mush Road at about 60 mph.
The CHP reported that Chid was trying to pass a white sedan and the Ford F60 that were traveling in the eastbound lane. Delemos turned left, directly into the path of the Ford Fusion. The driver of the Fusion was unable to avoid a crash. The left front of the Ford Fusion struck the right rear of the Ford F650. Chid sustained moderate injuries and was flown to a regional hospital. Delemos wasn’t hurt.

Meanwhile, Audrey Maria Ventura, 29, of Los Banos, was driving a silver Mitsubishi Galant eastbound on Sandy Mush Road at an unknown speed, approaching the stopped Altima.
