State Sen. Anthony Cannella’s office will hold a town hall meeting in Atwater on Thursday to answer questions regarding statewide legislative issues, and city officials to provide information about energy efficiency.
Staff representing Cannella, R-Ceres, will be available to answer questions about state issues such as unemployment and health care, according to the senator’s spokeswoman, Theresa Hong.
“We’re there more to provide mobile district hours,” Hong said. “If there are any issues or questions regarding legislation, or if they need help with unemployment or job search, we can always recommend them to the agency that can best help them.”
Atwater city officials will be on hand to provide information about energy efficiency, utility bills and related topics. The meeting will also include information from Keep Your Home California, Central California Legal Services Inc. and Merced County Association of Realtors.
