Crews battled a fire at a South Sacramento apartment that started around 4 a.m. Thursday.

A neighbor and Sacramento Fire Department Capt. Dave Abildgaard told Fox40 News the unit owner's extensive collection of items made fighting the fire slightly more difficult.

A resident reported that the blaze may have started after his clothes somehow caught fire.

The fire displaced residents of the four-plex on McAllister Avenue. Nobody was injured.
