One resident was injured in a Fulton Avenue apartment fire early Sunday afternoon, the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said.
The fire started in the bathroom of a second-story unit at 1251 Fulton Ave. and spread to the attic of an adjoining apartment, Metro Fire reported. Two additional units suffered smoke damage and four more sustained water damage, totaling $75,000 in damages, Metro Fire said.
One woman was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries. There were no other victims, fire officials report.
“Our hearts go out to the resident injured in this fire, and to all the families displaced,” Metro Fire said in a press release Sunday.
