El Dorado County has launched a new website and hotline hours to assist property owners affected by the Sand fire with rebuilding efforts.
The website and hotline were established during the fire to relay pertinent emergency information and provide residents with county services.
The website now features a new look and contains guidelines specific to environmental management issues, state and federal government information, and other county-provided services. It can be accessed through the county’s main webpage, at www.edcgov.us, by clicking on the Sand fire logo. The website will be updated as the recovery process moves forward, according to a county news release.
The hotline, (530) 642-7263, will be available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Monday. The county also is maintaining its Sand Fire email address, email@example.com.
