The Wragg fire near Lake Berryessa flared up about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, jumping the primary containment line and prompting new evacuations.
Robbie Richard, a spokesman for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, said the fire jumped the primary containment line on the south end of the fire area, but was still within the secondary containment line.
Mandatory evacuations are in effect for the Mixed Canyon, Sky Ranch and Gates Canyon areas.
