City of Sacramento residents are reminded that with the return of daylight saving time, two-day-a-week water restrictions are the rule.

Spring and summer watering within the city limits is limited to two days based on address. Residents with home addresses ending in an odd number water on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Residents with home addresses ending in an even number water on Wednesday and Sunday.

Watering is permitted before 10 a.m. or after 7 p.m.

No watering is permitted on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. No over-watering is permitted on any day.

If watering is noticed on the wrong day, citizens can report it by calling the city at 311 or (916) 264-5011 – or by email at 311@cityofsacramento.org.

Call The Bee’s Bill Lindelof, (916) 321-1079.
