Patchy fog this morning should clear out by midday

Thursday morning’s patchy fog should clear out by midday, according to the National Weather Service.

Thursday will be sunny with a high of 76, said NWS Meteorologist Eric Kurth. The fog is expected to return after midnight and linger into Veteran’s Day, which is predicted to be partly sunny with a high of 74. Patchy fog is expected Saturday as well.

Sacramentans looking to get outside this weekend shouldn’t worry – Kurth said the next chance of rain is early next week. There’s a 20 percent chance of rain Tuesday, he said.

Today: Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 77. Calm wind.

Tonight: Patchy fog after 4am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 53. Calm wind.

Veterans Day: Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 74. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph in the afternoon.

Friday Night: Patchy fog after 4am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. Light south wind.

Saturday: Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 71. Calm wind.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 72.
