Summertime temperatures in May are forecast for Tuesday before weather conditions cool in Sacramento.
The National Weather Service expects that the high temperatures on Monday will be 86 degrees, which is 7 degrees above normal for May 8. The real heat this week is predicted to come on Tuesday when the maximum temperature in Sacramento is expected to reach a July-like 91 degrees.
After that, daytime temperatures return to about normal to a little below normal through the weekend. Look for temperatures in the 70s Wednesday through Sunday.
