Sunny and breezy conditions are forecast for Thursday but weather watchers have their eye on the latter part of the upcoming weekend when showers and snow are expected in Northern California.
Today’s high in Sacramento is expected to be in the low 70s. However, in the early morning it will feel colder because the wind is fairly strong.

The National Weather Service is predicting that a Gulf of Alaska weather system will bring changes over the weekend. Cool and breezy conditions are expected Saturday.
Then, Saturday night and Sunday, periods of light rain are forecast for the Sacramento region.
