Springtime means the weather is sublime to take in day games at Raley Field.
In the summer, afternoons can be boiling in the sun to watch a game. But this Sunday, the weather will be the baseball equivalent of a perfectly pitched game.
The temperature on Sunday in West Sacramento is expected to top out at 79 degrees. The temperature is likely to already be in the 70s when the minor league baseball game starts at 1:05 p.m. Sunday.
The River Cats will be taking on the Salt Lake City Bees.
The promotion on Sunday features pre-game player autograph signings, face painters, balloon artists and the opportunity to run the bases on the field after the game.
The temperature today is expected to be similarly mild: 74 degrees. And Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high of 77 degrees.
