Sacramento’s weekend weather is going to be rather pleasant, with high temperatures today in the mid- to upper-70s. The evenings will remain seasonably cool, with tonight’s low temperature dropping down into the mid- to upper-40s.
It could hit 80 degrees on Sunday and there isn’t a chance of rain for the weekend.
“It’s going to be pretty uneventful,” said forecaster Brooke Bingaman with the National Weather Service.

A storm will pass through upper Northern California on Tuesday, bringing rain to the Redding area, the Coastal Range and part of the Sierra. But the Sacramento area will remain dry.
After that storm passes, the area is in for a heat spike. Bingaman said the high temperature on Friday in Sacramento could hit the mid-80s, which is about 15 degrees above normal.
