Another warm day forecast for Sacramento

Abnormally warm temperatures are expected to continue through the weekend, but the National Weather Service is no longer calling for the first 90-degree day of 2015 in Sacramento.

The high on Wednesday is expected to be 83 degrees, which is quite a bit above the normal maximum for April 29 of 76 degrees. Sacramento’s spring has been warm thanks to a persistent high pressure system.

The warmest day this week is expected to occur on Friday. A little cooling is forecast for the weekend.

The high pressure system is also blunting any rainfall. April showers appear to be over for Sacramento.
