Another spring shower this week for Sacramento?

Forecasters are calling for cooler weather with a possibility of another round of showers late in the week in Sacramento.

Last week’s shower activity could be repeated on Thursday when light rain may very well dampen spring plantings in the Sacramento region. All through the week, temperatures are expected to be pleasantly mild with highs in the 70s.

Normally, Sacramento receives about three-quarters of an inch of rain in May. So far, the city has recorded 0.19 of an inch this month. That precipitation fell last Thursday, bringing seasonal rainfall to 13.73 inches.
