Sacramento will see relatively warm temperatures for the next few days, despite a low pressure system pushing in from the Gulf of Alaska.

On Saturday, the high temperature for downtown is expected to hit 76 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will remain in the mid-70s for much of next week.

“The weather pattern has changed this month that has kept things a fair bit cooler,” said weather service forecaster Tom Dang. “We had a very strong ridge of high pressure last month.”

While there won’t be any precipitation in Sacramento in the near future, the Sierra Nevada will see scattered thunderstorms next week, Dang said.
