Cloudy skies Saturday are expected to clear for Memorial Day

Cloudy skies and isolated showers are expected to kick off the Memorial Day weekend today.

Temperatures won’t be affected, with a high of 79 degrees predicted Saturday for Sacramento. The overcast weather is caused by a low pressure system dropping in along the Northern California coast, said Holly Osborne, a weather service forecaster.

For the rest of the weekend, Osborne is predicting dry, hot weather.
