More of same weather in the 80s for Sacramento with slight chance of showers this weekend

The weather Wednesday is expected to be fairly similar to Tuesday’s conditions across the Sacramento region, according to the National Weather Service.

The high temperatures downtown on Tuesday reached 88 degrees, three degrees above normal for early June. Look for a high of about 84 degrees Wednesday, according to forecasters.

There is still a chance of showers forecast for the weekend. A slight chance of showers is forecast for Saturday night, so that Sacramento River Cats game might have a sprinkle or two.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 59. West wind 5 to 8 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 87. Calm wind.

Friday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 58.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 86.
