Enjoy the weather, temperatures to rise on Sunday in Sacramento

Summertime temperatures are expected to make a return to Sacramento soon.

Until Sunday, afternoon high temperatures are predicted to be around normal for early June: the mid-80s. Earlier this week the National Weather Service had been predicting a chance of showers over the weekend, but that has disappeared from the forecast.

Except for a few clouds, this week looks like a typical spring in Sacramento: pleasant temperatures and dry weather.

Temperatures in the 90s are forecast to return on Sunday. There were just 3 days of 90-degree weather in May.

In June, Sacramento usually receives 14 days of temperatures of 90 degrees or above.
