Haze and sunshine in forecast for Sacramento

Sacramento’s weather is expected to be warm throughout the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday’s forecast calls for a high temperature of 89 degrees, two degrees above the average for this time of year. However, hazy skies and smoke from the King fire in El Dorado County will remain in the region.

“Not your normal sunshine,” said weather forecaster Johnnie Powell. “The wind is clearing some smoke, but it’s not strong enough.”
