The National Weather Services has reported “reasonable and seasonable” temperatures are expected for the weekend and into next week, although hazy conditions are forecast to stick around.
The air quality is predicted to improve slightly, but smoky conditions are expected to continue forecasters said. Several fires are still burning in the area, including the Trinity County fires, according to the NWS. Smoke from that area will move toward Sacramento this Friday, extending hazy conditions in the area.
Friday highs are forecast to be close to 88 degrees with sunny conditions. A slight uptick is expected for the weekend, with temperatures in the very low 90s on Saturday and Sunday.
A healthy Delta breeze has kept lows in the 50s and 60s most mornings this past week.
