Sunny skies and seasonably warm temperatures are in the forecast for Sacramento this week.

On Sunday, Sacramento is expected to hit a high temperature of 90 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Robert Baruffaldi, a weather service forecaster, described the weather as “dry and normal.”

“We’ll be somewhere around 90 for this week,” he said. “It might warm a few degrees one day.”

Beginning later in the week, a low-pressure system growing in the Gulf of Alaska is projected to move into the Pacific Northwest, bringing cooler temperatures for Sacramento, Baruffaldi said.
