Labor Day weekend in the Sacramento area expected to be a breeze, according to forecasters.
Pleasant, cool winds are expected to keep Saturday and Sunday temperatures below normal , according to the National Weather Services. Saturday’s high is forecast to be near 85 degrees, while Sunday’s high is predicted to go up a notch to around 91 degrees.
After a few days of showers and thunderstorms in the northern mountain areas, the weekend is expected to be largely dry in the Sacramento region, forecasters said.
But the comfortable temperatures are predicted to fade away early next week, with highs forecast to climb up into the mid to upper 90s, according to the NWS.
