Three days of comfortable weather are forecast for the Sacramento region.
While the weather was more like summer than fall on Monday, the next three days are forecast to be more seasonable. The maximum temperatures on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are predicted to be around 80 degrees Sacramento, according to the National Weather Service.
The cool-down is related to an increase in clouds and a healthy Delta breeze. It is expected that most areas in Northern California will experience high temperatures that will be from 5-to-10-degrees lower on Tuesday than what occurred on Monday.
The mercury hits 91 degrees on Monday in Sacramento, which is six degrees above normal for late September.
