There is potential for wet weather in Northern California during Thanksgiving week.
Computer prognostication models are indicating the possibility of a weather system dropping from the Gulf of Alaska the middle of next week. While the details and timing of the system are uncertain, precipitation could begin Tuesday or Wednesday in Sacramento.
Cooler temperatures, rain and mountain snow down to an elevation of 4,000 feet are probable, according to the National Weather Service. Travelers should be prepared for delays.
