Another day in the 70s is forecast for Friday as the Sacramento area basks under warm and dry conditions.
The National Weather Service is forecasting that two weak storm systems will pass over Northern California. The first one is expected to arrive Friday night and continue into early Saturday morning, followed by dry weather again from Saturday afternoon into early Sunday morning.
Then, the second weak storm arrives Sunday morning and continues into very early Monday morning. Neither is likely to deliver any significant rainfall to Sacramento.
There’s a slight chance of some sprinkles tonight in the Sacramento region. Light snowfall is possible early Saturday morning above 5,500-feet elevation.
