Sacramento may see some light showers this week amid mild spring days, according to the National Weather Service.
A low pressure system may drop some rain on the city Sunday evening as temperatures dip into the high 40s. There’s a chance of thunderstorms in the foothills and the mountains. After the skies clear, the NWS expects Monday and Tuesday to be mostly sunny with highs in the high 60s and low 70s.
By Wednesday, another low pressure system is expected in the area, bringing a chance of a little more rain during the day and into the evening. Mild, mostly sunny weather should return for Thursday and Friday, according to the NWS.
