Another day of 100-degree weather is forecast for Thursday in Sacramento.

The city has sweltered through five 100-degree days in row. The high on Wednesday was the coolest day in the string of century readings: 100 degrees on the nose.

The National Weather Service expects that the heat will reach 100 degrees again today. Already, for the month, Sacramento has had 9 days of 100-degree or hotter weather in June.

On average, Sacramento experiences only 4 days of 100-degree or higher weather.
