Finalist for cartoon caption contest

This week’s contest gave readers the chance to weigh in on the issue of Nevada dumping hundreds of mentally ill patients in California and other states.

Here are the three captions that made the final cut. Now you get to help choose the winner. Vote online at www.sacbee.com/opinion for your favorite by noon Friday.

The winner, based on votes and judging by the editorial board and Steve Greenberg, will be revealed in Forum. The winner will receive a signed color print of Greenberg’s cartoon with the winning caption.
