LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. (AP) -- Luis Campusano scored on an error in the first inning to help the Lake Elsinore Storm secure a 5-3 victory over the Inland Empire 66ers on Sunday.
The error capped a two-run inning and gave the Storm a 2-1 lead after Campusano hit an RBI double earlier in the inning.
The Storm later added single runs in the second, fourth and sixth innings to secure the victory.
Lake Elsinore right-hander Ronald Bolanos (2-0) picked up the win after allowing two runs on four hits over five innings. Opposing starter Travis Herrin (1-1) took the loss in the California League game after giving up three runs and three hits over 2 1/3 innings.
Lake Elsinore improved to 6-2 against Inland Empire this season.
