EL PASO, Texas (AP) -- Ty France hit a pair of two-run home runs and three hits, as the El Paso Chihuahuas exploded for a season-high in runs in a 13-5 win over the Tacoma Rainiers on Tuesday.
El Paso took the lead in the first when Josh Naylor hit an RBI double and then scored on a two-run home run by France.
Tacoma answered in the next half-inning, scoring two runs to get within one on an error and an RBI single by Ian Miller.
El Paso later scored in four additional innings, including a four-run third, when Michael Gettys hit an RBI double, scoring Seth Mejias-Brean to help put the game away.
El Paso right-hander Cal Quantrill (2-1) picked up the win after allowing two runs on five hits over 5 2/3 innings. Opposing starter Tyler Danish (0-3) took the loss in the Pacific Coast League game after a rough outing in which he allowed seven runs and eight hits over four innings.
For the Rainiers, Orlando Calixte singled three times, scoring a couple of runs while also driving home two.
