The Kings have reached an agreement on a trade that will bring forward Rudy Gay to the Kings from Toronto along with Quincy Acy and Aaron Gray in exchange for John Salmons, Chuck Hayes, Greivis Vasquez and Patrick Patterson league sources confirmed Sunday.
Gay (6-8, 230) is the key player for the Kings. He is averaging 19.4 points and 7.4 rebounds in his eighth NBA season. Gay is due to make $17.8 million this season.
Acy (6-7, 225) is in his second season and has appeared in seven games this season. Gray (7-0, 270) is in his seventh season and has appeared in just four games this season.
Vasquez was acquired for Tyreke Evans and was in his first season with the Kings. Hayes was in his third season. Patterson was in his second season with the Kings. Salmons was in this third season with the Kings since being reacquired in 2011

Toronto is playing at the Los Angeles Lakers tonight and all players involved in the trade have been pulled from the lineup.
This is the second deal the Kings have made this season. Derrick Williams was acquired from Minnesota for Luc Mbah a Moute last month.
