1. Speed it up: The Kings play their best when they get out in transition. That means the Kings need aggressive defense and rebounding to spark their fast breaks. It’s the best way to take advantage of the new players on the team.
2. Crash course: Sometime before tipoff, Rudy Gay, Quincy Acy and Aaron Gray will receive a crash course in how the Kings run their offense and defense. They spent Tuesday completing their physicals and did not practice but should be available for the shootaround this morning.
3. Bench production: The Kings still have to decide how they will produce from the bench with Isaiah Thomas now starting at point guard. The answer to who will join Marcus Thornton as a source for bench scoring will come when coach Michael Malone decides on a starting lineup that includes Gay.
