Kaepernick says team aims for 12-4 mark

Following arguably his best game of the season, albeit in a 30-27 loss to the New York Giants, quarterback Colin Kaepernick notes that his team still has 11 regular-season games to play. “We have an opportunity to go 12-4,” Kaepernick said. “That’s a good record, and that’s what we’re aiming for.”

Kings: Going big can be a good thing

▪ The Royals use a five-run eighth inning to defeat the host Astros and even their best-of-five series at two games apiece.

▪ The visiting Blue Jays score seven times in the first three innings and go on to an 8-4 win over the Royals to even their best-of-five series at two games apiece.
