The Kings will have a much different starting lineup Wednesday against the Phoenix Suns.
Darren Collison will start in the backcourt along with Rajon Rondo, meaning shooting guard Ben McLemore will come off the bench for the first time since his rookie season.
James Anderson will start at small forward and Rudy Gay at power forward. Willie Cauley-Stein will start at center. DeMarcus Cousins (strained right Achilles’ tendon) is out for the second consecutive game.
“It matches (Phoenix’s) two point guards,” said Kings coach George Karl. “It’s more of a matchup plus defense.”

Karl said McLemore is in a “little bit of a slump” and “searching for confidence.” McLemore is averaging 4.3 points and shooting 6 of 21 through four games.
Karl said Cauley-Stein and Kosta Koufos, who started Tuesday against Memphis, would split time at center.
