Guard Lamar Patterson, claimed by the Kings off waivers from Atlanta last month, isn’t the first person to be concerned about a pet when relocating for a new job. But his pet, Pharoah, isn’t a dog or cat; “Ro” is an alligator.

Chris Sale pitches eight scoreless innings for his first victory in 49 days, Jose Abreu homers and the Chicago White Sox beat the A’s 6-2.

Republic FC: Sac tops Portland in shootout
