Cody Demps scored 15 points on 7-of-8 shooting and handed out five assists to lead Sacramento State over Holy Names 96-56 Friday night at the Nest.
Justin Strings finished with 14 points, and every Hornet scored. Sac State shot 36 of 59 (.610) from the field.
Eric Stuteville had 13 points and 11 rebounds as Sac State (3-0) dominated the Division II Hawks on the glass 52-32. The Hawks, however, collected 18 offensive rebounds.
Holy Names raced to a 7-0 lead before the Hornets used a 34-14 run to take control. Stuteville led the charge, scoring 11 points highlighted by his back-to-back dunks following a Strings dunk.

Sac State continued the onslaught in the second half, scoring 51 points.
Dante Robinson and Jonathan Robinson each scored eight points to lead the Hawks, who shot just 27.6 percent from the field.
