A Causeway Cup showdown with Sacramento State at the Golden 1 Center, its first appearance in the 39th annual Great Alaska Shootout and the first game against Cal in six seasons highlight the UC Davis men’s nonconference basketball scheduled announced Tuesday.

The Aggies will play the Hornets in the first college game at the new home of the Kings on Nov. 21 before Cal plays San Diego State in the second game of a doubleheader. The Aggies will play 12 of their 15 nonconference games on the road or at a neutral site, including Dec. 10 in Berkeley.

UC Davis plays at the Great Alaska Shootout from Nov. 23-26 in Anchorage. UCD opens against defending Big Sky Conference champion Weber State on Nov. 24. Nevada, Alaska-Anchorage, Buffalo and Oakland also are in the tournament.

The Aggies open the season Nov. 11 against Tennessee State in the Cable Car Classic in Santa Clara. The Aggies will play Santa Clara on Nov. 12 and Northern Arizona on Nov. 13.
