Oak Ridge High School quarterback Ian Book, Del Oro defensive back Trey Udoffia, Folsom offensive lineman Jonah Williams and Elk Grove all-purpose standout Ryan Robards on Tuesday were named to the 37th annual Cal-Hi Sports All-State Football first team.

Despite also being named The Bee’s All-Metro Player of the Year, Robards received little college recruiting interest. He will instead play baseball on scholarship at Pacific. Udoffia, a Colorado signee, led Del Oro to a CIF State Bowl championship and was The Bee’s Defensive Player of the Year. Book, bound for Notre Dame, was The Bee’s first-team quarterback and Williams, already enrolled at Alabama, was a Bee first-team lineman.

Defensive back Lamar Jackson (Nebraska) of Franklin and quarterback Jake Jeffrey (as a multipurpose player) of Folsom made Cal-Hi’s second team while offensive lineman Jacob Capra (Oregon) of Placer and defensive lineman Chase Hatada (Boise State) of Rocklin made third team.

Jesuit running back Beau Bisharat, Grant running back Deshawn Collins, Del Oro defensive back Justin Burrage, Folsom defensive back Matt Torres and Elk Grove offensive lineman Trevor Reinwald made the fourth team.

Inderkum quarterback/defensive back Trajon Cotton and Del Oro wide receiver/defensive back Mason Hurst made Cal-Hi’s All-Junior first team.
