The A’s are offering to take you out to the ballgame – at no cost to you.
Oakland and the rest of Major League Baseball released tentative 2018 schedules Tuesday. To celebrate their 50th anniversary at the Coliseum, the A’s are offering free admission to their April 17 game against the Chicago White Sox, according to an announcement on the team’s website. No other details were given.
In another change from this recent seasons, the Bay Bridge Series will be split up next year. The A’s head to AT&T Park for a three-game set July 13-15, then host the Giants the following weekend, with the All-Star break in between. The Bay Area rivals played four consecutive games, two at each team’s home site, in 2016 and ’17.
