Madison Bumgarner is one of the instrumental blocks in the San Francisco Giants’ recent championships.

The four-time All-Star pitcher has been part of the Giants’ three World Series trophies since 2010. His dominance in the 2014 postseason and power at the plate have the Giants faithful and fans across baseball – well, maybe not those of the Kansas City Royals – falling to pieces over the big left-hander.

As a tribute to Bumgarner, an international toy company put together a life-size model of him and presented it at the mound Saturday at AT&T Park before the Giants’ 5-3 victory over the Washington Nationals.

According to a press release, the statue is made from more than 36,000 LEGO bricks and took model builders about 300 hours to design and build. It stands 158 LEGO bricks tall (almost 5 feet, according to a LEGO unit converter) and weighs 180 pounds.
