Wilson Kneeshaw scored an equalizing goal in the 83rd minute to help Republic FC earn a 1-1 road draw against LA Galaxy II on Saturday night.
Kneeshaw scored his second goal with Sacramento (13-6-9, 48 points) on a low liner just outside the box when Los Dos goalkeeper Clement Diop came off the line to challenge the breakaway.
Ariel Lassiter put Los Angeles (10-7-10, 40 points) on the board in the 38th minute on a shot that goalkeeper Evan Newton couldn’t push over the bar.
With the draw, Republic FC, which is in first place in the USL Western Conference, extends its unbeaten streak to nine matches and is three points ahead of Rio Grande Valley FC, which lost to Portland on Saturday.
