The Sacramento Gold, eliminated in last weekend’s playoff semifinals, landed forward Manolo Pina and defender Fernando De Alba on the National Premier Soccer League 2014 All-Star team.
The Gold’s Jason Jones finished in a tie for the Golden Boot award as the semi-pro league’s leading scorer.
The New York Red Bulls U-23 and Chattanooga (Tenn.) FC, which play for the NPSL title Saturday night, also had two players each chosen for the All-Star team.
Sacramento, minus an injured Pina, lost to Chattanooga 4-1 in the semifinals. New York beat Lansing United of Michigan 2-0.
