Sacramento featherweight Guy Robb (14-1) and Vacaville junior featherweight Manuel Avila (16-0), two fast-rising boxing prospects, scored knockouts to highlight a nationally televised card at Fairfield's Allan Witt Sports Complex.

A Robb left hook to the head finished Ronell Green (10-1) of Wheeling, W.Va., at 1:48 of the third round in a featured match. In the main event, Avila dropped Sergio Frias (15-4-2) of Mexico twice in the first round and then stopped him at 2:27 of the eighth with a three-punch combination to the head and a left hook to the body.

Earlier, heavyweight Gerald Washington (14-0) of Vallejo won a unanimous eight-round decision over Nagy Aguilera (19-9) of New York. Aguilera's record includes a first-round KO of former world champion Oleg Maskaev in 2009.
