Marquese Chriss out again with illness as Suns reach summer league semis

MARQUESE CHRISS, Suns forward (Pleasant Grove High School)

Saturday: Chriss missed his second consecutive summer league game with an illness, according to Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic. Chriss has averaged 10 points and nine rebounds in 30.3 minutes over three games for the Suns. Tyler Ulis’ long three-pointer at the buzzer gave Phoenix an 82-81 overtime victory over Denver in the quarterfinals.

SPENCER BUTTERFIELD, Jazz guard (Del Oro High, Yuba College)

Overview: Butterfield averaged 8.8 points and 2.2 rebounds in 15.8 minutes over six games for Utah.

COREY HAWKINS, Warriors guard (UC Davis)

Overview: Hawkins averaged 2.5 points, and 1.8 rebounds in 9.5 minutes in four games for Golden State.
